Hooray for summer finally arriving in the Cotswold Hooray for summer finally arriving in the Cotswolds!⁣⁣The wild daisies are out in force and we’re busy rediscovering some of our favourite local Cotswolds walks at the moment. I think it’s about time I starting sharing some new dog walking routes - maybe a walk a week series 🤔 ⁣⁣Let us know if there’s anywhere/anything in particular you want to see 👇
Eeek, it’s been a while 🫣⁣⁣Thanks so mu Eeek, it’s been a while 🫣⁣⁣Thanks so much for sticking with us the last month, life has been so busy and stressful while also trying to focus on Maple’s recovery. Very relieved to report that she seems to be completely back to herself after a very nervy few weeks waiting for test results!⁣⁣Swipe for day 1 after surgery vs now 🥰 her hair is growing back so well! We still need to share so much from our trips before her surgery and a wonderful stay we had in Anglesey, so that will be coming right up as we try to resume normal insta activity!

Maple will be in for the surgery to remove a mass on her rib a week tomorrow, so anything like this will certainly be on hold for a while! ⁣⁣#adventuredog #hikingdog #getoutside #dogfriendlyuk #irishsetter

Honestly just had enough of all this mud and rain now 😅⁣⁣So excited to be heading back to the Lake District in two weeks time so I’ll be crossing my fingers for conditions like this again 🤞
🎂7 years of Pops 🎂⁣⁣Happy Birthday to 🎂7 years of Pops 🎂⁣⁣Happy Birthday to our dog in a million, the best little adventure buddy we could ever wish for and the perfect big sister/good influence to Maple ❤️⁣⁣Excited for the year ahead and all the places in the UK and Europe that we’ll be exploring together!⁣⁣

Do you insure your pets? ⁣⁣We’ve insured Pops and Maple since the day we brought them home, and after the last few months, we’ve experienced first-hand just how much we value having this in place, with some costly vet bills!⁣⁣@tescobank have recently put together stats and research in a new information hub called Our Best Pets-timate to help potential pet parents consider all the cost implications of owning a pet before taking the plunge. In the survey, 44% said they didn’t have pet insurance, leaving them and their pet at risk of high vet costs. We all want the best for our dogs, but with the average cost of an unexpected vet bill at £392.90, teamed with the cost-of-living squeeze, it’s easy to underestimate the financial impact of pet ownership. We’d love to raise awareness of the cost implications of giving your dogs a happy and healthy life.⁣⁣We’ve written a post on our blog all about the new @tescobank information hub and some of the costs of being a pet parent. ⁣⁣
A view I’ll never forget!⁣⁣About time I sh A view I’ll never forget!⁣⁣About time I shared possibly my new favourite picture of Maple 😍 what an angel she was just standing on a random rock for me in the tarn. ⁣⁣There’s really no place like the Lake District when the weather is in your favour 🙌🏻⁣⁣My advice if you’re visiting here:⁣▫️Try and plan for a really calm day - low winds will help with the reflections⁣▫️ Visit early (but not too early!). Blea Tarn is a popular place as there’s a car park right opposite. I arrived just as the landscape togs were packing up after sunrise and had it to myself for pretty much half an hour.⁣▫️Drive over the hill and into the Langdale valley afterwards - it’s a stunning drive with incredible views! Then stop off at a dog friendly fave of ours @lantysleeslangdale for drinks and food.⁣⁣

Happy Monday from my favourite trig in the Cotswol Happy Monday from my favourite trig in the Cotswolds 😍⁣⁣We’re finally getting to the best part of winter, when the sunset is late enough to be able to start squeezing in a quick walk after work (on wfh days!) and I’m so here for it. ⁣⁣I have so many pictures from this trig on Leckhampton Hill, Pops just hops straight onto it now like a true professional 😅
Find me a dog happier than Maple at the beach ❤️⁣⁣This sunset beach walk all stemmed from a bit of a bonkers idea of mine to cross the entire width of Wales on a Friday in time for sunset on a beach I’d never been to before! I literally JUST arrived in time and it was a mad rush trying to take pictures of the incredible sky reflecting in the sea before I lost the light, all while chasing Pops round who had seemingly been storing a weeks worth of poos just for this moment 😅⁣⁣This is definitely a spot I want to return to in daylight, the beach was so perfect for the dogs to run around with so much space at low tide. ⁣
