Miserden is a private estate looking over the Golden Valley and surrounded by exceptionally beautiful countryside which the estate maintains to a high standard. The Miserden estate encompasses 850 acres of woodland, farmland and gardens but there are many public footpaths that pass through the estate.
This route is one of our favourite short walks, passing through farmland before heading into the woods and over to one of the most beautiful lakes we’ve seen in England! Parts of the route also follow a stream which is great fun for the dogs to splash around in, but this walk can get very muddy in winter!
Visit in Spring to see the stunning display of wild garlic carpet the woodland floor, or autumn to see the colour changing of leaves across the estate.
